That All Men Are Created Equal

That all men are created equal before the eyes of God and the United States Constitution is of little, if any, importance before the eyes of men who measure equality in terms of political and economic power.

It is through the educational process that this sort of power is either constructed or deconstructed.

The United Black Family Scholarship Foundation
is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the social and economic conditions of underserved communities. The organization was incorporated on May 22, 2014, in the State of Oklahoma.

Our Mission

UBFSF Bilal Tahlib Ali
Our mission is to create a culture of higher learning within these communities. We advance education, not in the strict sense of “credentialism,” rather education as it pertains to empowering men and women to deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in the transformation of their world.

We “turn-up” on literacy as it relates to informing people as to the nature of the various institutional and cultural forces which shape their beliefs, behavior, and value systems.

We are getting to the heart of the problems before our communities which are plagued be ignorance on all levels—from the streets to the schoolhouse.
