HR Development Internship

To effectively change the dynamic in system-impacted communities, we recognize the need to develop a space where students have the opportunity to do transformative work with incarcerated citizens. Here, we welcome students who understand the unique vision and value that directly-impacted incarcerated citizens bring to today’s movements to end mass incarceration, police brutality, housing discrimination, and more.

Our HR Development Internship Program is a unique program in that it allows student volunteers the opportunity to work directly with our incarcerated founder to glean years of experience working on the inside/outside of America’s prisons to educate, mobilize, and develop effective HR practices to organize underrepresented communities.

The primary objective of this program is to provide students the opportunity to gain invaluable experience utilizing their education in human resources and other related fields to develop, direct and implement comprehensive human resource policy and programs to transform system-impacted communities.
