King The Early Years AMZ

$14.95

The series focuses on the African-American, Asian, and Latino ghetto communities and rural experience. Entertained by the cheap thrills of violence and promiscuity that fill the pages of most Urban novels? Then you will be intrigued by the schemes and fantasy of beating the odds in the streets with King. Or maybe you simply want to vicariously experience the life of those who have? Not a fan of street literature? Well, you just may want to study this genre to analyze its connection to Urban mythology and its impact on ghetto communities across the United States.

First let me tell you a little something: I had never read any urban fiction prior to this, never even visited that section in a bookstore. However, the opportunity to work as an editor on this project with the author, Mr. Ivan Kilgore, has provided for me an unexpected entertainment “page turner,” in a genre of literature which has helped me better appreciate and understand the African American cultural and street experiences, both past and present.

I have to caution you though: this book is packed with violence, steamy sex scenes, heartache, and betrayal. Still, you don’t want to miss the invaluable story about the central character, King, a young black kid who is struggling to make the right decisions while living, loving, and surviving in many of the wrong circumstances.

This urban fiction, written by a Black author, speaks to all genders who enjoy the urban genre, new release collections of erotica, romance, gangsters, gun arsenals, westerns, good guys vs. bad, Native and African American history and more…

Bonus: Considering this story is based on true events, when you’re in the urban fiction section of your favorite bookstore, grab that “King” off the shelf, and while drooling over that dreamy, hot author you’ll find on the book cover, you might want to go hide somewhere while you imagine yourself as Kay-Kay!
