Program & Public Policy Internship

To effectively change the dynamic in underrepresented communities, we recognize the instrumental role that effective programs and public policy work have in transforming the structural environment and shaping political culture.

Our Program & Public Policy Internship Program is an innovative program that allows student volunteers the opportunity to gain invaluable experience utilizing their education in political science, public administration, and other related fields to develop, direct and implement comprehensive program and policy development measures that have the potential to transform the dynamic in underrepresented communities.

The primary objective of this program is to provide students the opportunity to work with and/or develop 501c4 organizations, lobbying efforts, and grassroots organizations dedicated to creating social and economic programs and policy that address the problems before our communities.

Here, we welcome students who understand the importance and value that directly-impacted incarcerated and formerly incarcerated citizens bring to today’s movements to end mass incarceration, police brutality, housing discrimination, and more.
