Special Projects, unlike programs, are activities the organization may undertake to advance its mission, goals & objectives, or Philosophy (or to assist its affiliate organizations with a program, event, or cause). For Example, in 2014 the UBF partnered with the Free Alabama Movement to bring national attention to unconstitutional living conditions in the Alabama Department of Corrections. - Organized protest;
- Conventions;
- Seminars
Criteria for determining which special projects the organization will undertake is currently under development. If you or someone you know has a project that you would like for us to consider, contact us.
